Chris McKay's "TOMORROW WAR"

Chris McKay's "TOMORROW WAR"

Movie review by Dennis D. McDonald

Glad I did not pay to see this in a theater. Nothing original here. Lots of action sequences interspersed with heartfelt family issues.

Chris Pratt continues to underwhelm with his limited dramatic range. Generally the women (and girl) in this movie come across as more interesting than the men.

The whole thing suffers from Pratt's lack of charisma and that the story and many scenes are assembled from situations and themes we've all seen before.

From a special effects perspective it is interesting that even mediocre films can now boast decent creatures, action, and views of massive devastation.

By all means do not confuse this with Joe Haldeman's classic sci-fi novel FOREVER WAR.
