Book review by Dennis D. McDonald

This is one of those police procedurals where you know right from the start who the “murderer“ is.

What follows the abusive husband’s death is a very satisfying character driven tale about the police investigation and their support by occasional helper Professor Manabu Yukawa, AKA “Professior Galileo.”

The plotting is intricate. The characters are complex. We follow one blind alley after the other. That we know who is guilty already only adds to the our fascination. Yet there are still many surprises in store as the story unravels. Recommended.
