Sam Raimi's “DRAG ME TO HELL”

Sam Raimi's “DRAG ME TO HELL”

A Movie Review by Dennis D. McDonald

Sam Raimi’s DRAG ME TO HELL is fitfully entertaining. There are a few laughs as it wanders down well-worn horror movie paths. But it commits what I consider the unpardonable sin for a horror movie: it’s boring. Its characters are dull and uninteresting, the action sequences are run of the mill, and — this is a big one — the DVD extras are actually more interesting than the film itself. Rent something else.
